Dolores Ricchini was born January 16, 1939 in Philadelphia, PA to Richard and Mary (McKaig) Sommers and met her Savior on June 1, 2026 in Omaha, NE. John Ricchini and Dolores were married on August 11, 1961. To this union were born, Joseph, Mary, Christopher and Matthew. During their early years John would work during the day and attend college at night while Dolores kept the home and children. John’s employment took them to numerous states and finally to Lincoln, NE where John taught construction management at UNL and eventually ran a consultation and seminar business with Dolores as his secretary. John and Dolores made many dear friends in Lincoln and helped to establish Living Word Church. Here they served together in leadership for many years with Dolores as the worship leader playing piano, guitar and ushering people into the presence of God. After celebrating 25 years of marriage, John passed away in March 1987. Dolores continued to serve the church as worship leader and as secretary to the Pastor.

Dolores was a sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, spiritual mother, mentor, friend and lover of God. Left to celebrate her home-going are her sister Ellen Fromm (Wyman) of Denver, CO; Children Joe (Connie) of Omaha, Mary of Omaha, Christopher (Ann) of Gaithersburg, MD and Matthew (Lisa) of Papillion, NE; Grandchildren Jared (Michaela) Ricchini of Denver, CO, Michael Ricchini of Omaha, David (Anna) Ricchini of Omaha, Nicole (Colin) O’Hearn of Ft. Calhoun, NE, Kristin (Jeremy) Cassiday of Omaha, Kelly, Katelyn, Christina, Michael (Raquel), Andrew (Nichole), Katie, Grace, Jonathan and Timothy; Great-Grandchildren Jaden, Makayla and Alissa, Ariella, Izzy and Gio, Michael, Isaiah, Alessia and Adriana, Wesley Ricchini, Margaret and Warren Cassiday, Claire O’Hearn and two on the way. In addition to family, Dolores leaves behind numerous nephews, nieces and many, many friends.

A Celebration of Life will be celebrated in the near future in Omaha.
