Denise Erika Scheufele

Denise Scheufele (née Glass), 73, of Omaha, Nebraska, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 18, 2026 surrounded by her family.

Denise was born on December 10, 1952 in Baltimore, Maryland. She graduated from Overlea High School in 1970, worked for A&P food stores for several years, and then spent 43 years working for Blue Cross/Blue Shield. Above all, she was known for her love, strength, hospitality, and kindness to everyone she encountered.

Denise is survived by her husband Bob, son Chris, daughter-in-law Luann, grandchildren Alaina, Josiah, and Lizzie, and sister Cindy.

A celebration of life service will be held at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Rosedale, Maryland on October 3, 2026 at 10:00 AM with a brief reception to follow. (8212 Philadelphia Rd, Rosedale, MD 21237)
