It is with great sadness that the family of Deb Standish announces her passing on July 13, 2026, at her home, surrounded by her family.

Deb is survived by her husband, Ralph; her children, Scott (Liz) and Lisa (Brian); and her grandchildren, Connor, Brooke, and Hailey.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Minnie Vovsik; her grandfather, Joseph Vovsik; and her mother, Alice Cherry.

Born in Omaha, Nebraska, Deb was the daughter of Alice Cherry. She attended North High School, where she was a member of the cheerleading team. After high school, she attended the University of Nebraska at Kearney. She returned to Omaha, began working at Immanuel Hospital, married her husband, Ralph, and together they raised two children, Scott and Lisa.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, July 20, 2026, at Braman Mortuary, 72nd Street Chapel.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at Braman Mortuary, 72nd Street Chapel. Interment will follow at Bohemian Cemetery.
