David Michael Littlewood, 73, passed away on July 9, 2024. He was a beloved husband, father,
and grandfather who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

David is survived by his loving wife, Susan Littlewood, his children Nicole (Tim) Kirchhoefer,
Carrie (Nate) Broders, and his grandchildren Anna (14), Kyle (13), Alex (12), and Joshua (10).
He is preceded in death by his parents William and Marian Littlewood and brother Don
Littlewood.

David was born on December 13, 1950, in Waukesha, Wisconsin where he spent his formative
years. He graduated from Waukesha High School in 1969. After high school, David was
stationed in Omaha serving in the Air Force. Upon discharge he moved back to Waukesha but
had a connection to Omaha so moved there in 1972. He worked at Burt’s Shoe Store in
Westroads Mall which is where he meant the love of his life, Susan Littlewood. They became
inseparable and were married within a year on August 27, 1974. Life then blessed them with
two daughters.

He was a loving father and grandfather. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, playing
games, taking them out for grandpa day on their birthdays, and sharing his love of movies with
them. He was also very proud of his son in laws and couldn’t have asked for better men to join
the family.

In his free time, David loved playing tennis and didn’t hesitate to show his competitive side to
anyone willing to play him. During his retirement years he continued to do what he loved selling
shoes working at Haney Shoe Store in Omaha, Nebraska.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Alzheimer’s Association.

VISITATION / WAKE: Monday, July 22, 2024, 5-7 pm at Braman Mortuary (1702 N 72 nd St, Omaha)

MEMORIAL MASS: Tuesday, July 23, 2024, 10:30 am at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church
(14330 Eagle Run Dr, Omaha). Lunch following at Champions Run (13800 Eagle Run Dr,
Omaha).

BURIAL SERVICE: Tuesday, July 23, 2024, 2:30 pm at Forest Lawn (7909 Mormon Bridge Rd,
Omaha) within the mausoleum.
