Preceded in death by parents, Richard and Etta Gunnink and brothers, Eric Gunnink and Douglas Gunnink. Survived by wife, Deborah Korves-Gunnink, children, Elizabeth Brazier (Lukas), Abby Gunnink, Emily Gunnink, 2 grandchildren, brother, Robert Gunnink (Miriam), uncle, Norman Gunnink, three nephews, one niece and several cousins.
David was born in Orange City, Iowa and graduated from Fremont High School in Nebraska. He attended South Dakota State University and graduated from University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a bachelor in business. He lived in Omaha with his family for 47 years.
Private services were previously held.
