It is with heavy hearts that we share the loss of our beloved Darlene Ann Roberts, who passed away on January 31st, 2025. Darlene was born in Berwick, Pennsylvania and passed away at the age of 83 at her home in Omaha, Nebraska.

Darlene devoted her life to her family, raising four beautiful children while embracing the role of a loving wife and mother. She found immense joy and purpose in her faith, maintaining a close relationship with God. She felt the Lord’s presence and guidance when expressing her deep spirituality through her poetry. Her love and wisdom extended through generations, as she was blessed with 14 cherished grandchildren.

Darlene was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joseph Clifford Roberts; her children, Christine R. Cole, Joseph C. Roberts Jr., and Jerry R. Roberts; her parents, Robert E. Traugh and Virginia P. Traugh; and her brothers, Robert Traugh II and David Traugh. She is survived by her youngest son, Jeffrey C. Roberts; her brothers, Richard B. Traugh, Randell Traugh, and Stephen Traugh; and many loving grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Darlene was known for being stubborn, and she knew it—wearing it like a badge of honor. Her strength and determination were unmatched, and her love for her family was unwavering. She adored taking her grandchildren on road trips, creating memories that they will cherish forever. Though she is no longer with us, her spirit, love, and wisdom will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
