Cynthia Kay Spires

Cynthia Barlow Spires was born June 9th, 1960. She was welcomed home by her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on October 28th, 2026, surrounded by her loved ones. Cynthia lived her life for the Lord with unwavering faith and love, following His guidance in everything she did. Cynthia poured that unwavering faith into her family and was devoted to sharing the Word of God with every person she encountered.

Cynthia carried herself through life like a butterfly with joy, compassion, strength, tender lovingkindness, childlike faith and endless positivity. Her genuine care and desire to be a light in the darkness touched the lives of many. Her legacy lives on in those she imparted her faith, love, and wisdom to.

Cynthia raised up each of her children in the ways of the Lord, dedicating herself to ensuring her children knew and felt God’s love. Throughout her life she remained a constant pillar that supported her children in all they did and became. She was a constant guard that fought and protected those she loved, happily setting herself aside to aid those in need. She was the strong foundation that her family was built upon.

Cynthia left this life with eagerness and excitement to meet the Lord, whom she spent her life running toward.

“But we do not want you to be uninformed, brothers, about those who are asleep, that you may not grieve as others do who have no hope. For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep.”
