Cory was a great person, he would help anyone at anytime.  He was a loving husband, dad, son, brother and friend.  You could always count on him for his entertainment and his contagious smile.  He fought a hard battle and he did it for his family, just to become a daddy and to see her grow.  Cory loved to camp, go to music festivals, and always wanting to hang out with friends with a cold beer.  He was a hard working man and very dedicated to his projects. He will be greatly missed and will always be loved.

Survived by wife, Amy Hanke; daughter, Sophia; mother, Mary Hanke; father, Alan Hanke (Lesa); brothers, Deric Hanke (Codi), Travis Hanke (Jen); nieces, Kaylee, Makenna, Emerson, Jordan, Ava, Paige, Madison; nephews, Austin, Reed, Hudson, Sam, Caden, Connor, Wyatt, Isaac; mother in law, Linda Pfeifer (Jeff); father in law, Edward Clark (Angie); sisters in law, Jill (Richard), Jenny (Jeremy), Melissa (Jake), and many friends

Visitation: Thursday, June 23 from 5-7 pm at Braman Mortuary Southwest Chapel, 6505 S. 144th St., Omaha, NE
Celebration of Cory's Life: Friday, June 24 at 11 am, also at Braman Southwest
Interment: Voss Mohr Cemetery
