Connie M. Murphy, January 24, 1963 ~ February 23, 2026

Connie passed away Monday, February 23, 2026 peacefully at her home at the age of 63 after a long illness.

Connie was born in Sioux City, Iowa to Doris and Gerald “Jerry” Abraham. In her youth, she also lived in Stockton, California, Phoenix, Arizona before moving to Omaha, Nebraska in 1978. She was a graduate of Millard (South) High, Class of 1981. While raising her family, she worked for First Data/Fiserv for over 30 years before retiring due to her illness. Connie was a member of King of Kings Lutheran Church.

Connie is preceded in death by her father, Gerald “Jerry” Abraham, and her son, David. She is survived by her mother, Doris Abraham of Omaha, brother, Donald (Karen) Abraham of Phoenix, sisters, Cheryl Robinson of Belgium, Wisconsin and Barbara (Tom) Woodworth of Omaha. Sons Ryan (Anna) Murphy, Andy (Alisha) Murphy and Brandon Murphy, all of Omaha, grandchildren Emmit and Eleanor, nieces Laura, Crystal and Kristin, nephews Bob, Tim, Kyle and Matt. Connie’s family meant everything to her. She will be deeply missed.

A CELEBRATION OF CONNIE'S LIFE will be held on Friday, March 6, 2026 at 10:00 A.M., with family receiving guests one hour prior to service, all at Braman Mortuary (Millard Chapel). Interment at Evergreen Memorial Park, Omaha, Nebraska.
