Colleen M. Krayneski

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, Colleen Krayneski.

Colleen was born to Paul Lynch Sr. and Anne Babic and was a proud graduate of South High School, Class of 1967. She dedicated 25 years of her career to Streck Laboratories, where she worked as a laboratory technician before retiring.

To those who knew her best, Mom was the heart of our family. She had a way of making every holiday feel special and every family gathering feel like home. Whether it was Christmas, Thanksgiving, birthdays, or simply an excuse to bring everyone together, she loved creating memories surrounded by the people she cherished most.

She found joy in life's simple pleasures. She spent countless hours creating beautiful macramé pieces, painting ceramics with care, and enjoying one of her favorite pastimes—shopping. Her creativity, generosity, and welcoming spirit left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Above all else, Colleen loved her family. She leaves behind a sister Patricia Lynch, and four brothers Jim Lynch, Paul (Bud) Lynch Jr (Rosalie), Nick Lynch, Mark Lynch; her daughter, Christine Voss (Donn), and her son, Mike Krayneski (Staci), who will forever cherish her love, guidance, and unwavering support. She was also the proud grandmother of seven grandchildren and the loving great-grandmother of five great-grandchildren, each of whom brought her immense pride and happiness.

Although our hearts are broken, we find comfort in the many wonderful memories she gave us—the laughter around the dinner table, the traditions she created, and the unconditional love she shared so freely. Her legacy lives on through her family and all who were blessed to know her.

In lieu of flowers any donations will be made to Moby Transit Omaha.
