Starts at 2:00 pm (Central time)
Christopher "Chris " Albert Gross was born in Chicago, IL on September 11, 1959 to Albert and Ellen Gross
After making an early entry into the world and finishing school, Chris joined the U.S. Marine Corps. After proudly serving his country, Chris became an over the road truck driver. He was driving truck when he met his wife Sherri in 1994 at Dead Lake, MN. Chris and Sherri were married in Watertown, SD on March 22, 1996 and became team over the road drivers until Nov 2003 when they were told they were expecting a little one. In July 2004, Chris became a proud father to Wm. Jacob. He continued to drive truck until he found a security position with Nebraska Game and Parks in Louisville, Ne and then with GardWorld.
Chris was a proud member of the Patriot Guard and was most happy riding his motorcycle whenever he got the chance. He also loved fishing and hunting with his friends and family. Chris would give any and everyone a hard time including his loving wife. He loved to tell her the only reason he married her is to have a personal maintenance person to fix everything. If you knew Chris at all, you know why he wasn't allowed to play with any type of tool.
Chris LOVED ALL of his entire family and a proud Father, Brother, Husband, and Son.
Christopher Gross was preceded in death by his Parents Albert Ewan Gross and Ellen Vera Gross. He is survived by his wife Sherri Gross (Omaha), Wm. Jacob Gross (Omaha), Brother Theodore "Teddy" (Beth) Gross, Niece Kiley, Niece Teagan, Nephew Christopher all of Lake Station, IN. And many more nieces, nephew, family, and friends countrywide.
There will be a celebration of Chris' life at Living Faith of the Nazarene, 6724 S 83rd Ave, Ralston, NE 68127 on Nov 14, 2026, at 2:00 p.m.
