Cassaundra Marie Hendricks

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved sister, daughter, and mother, Cassaundra Marie Hendricks, who left us unexpectedly on September 16, 2025, at the age of 36.

She is preceded in death by her mother Lisa Nelson and will be deeply missed by her children: Gabe (18), Lilly (18), Anna (14), Chloe (12), Bobby (11), Caroline (11), and Alyssa (4), who were the light of her life.

Cassaundra is survived by her children, father, Terrence Hendricks & stepfather William Nelson, siblings: Brandy Nelson, Mandy Anderson (Chris), Jesse Nelson, Melissa Hendricks (Randy Hurst), Nichole Baugh, Brandon Hendricks (Lindsey), Sonny Atherton (Candice), Elizabeth Schumacher (Thomas), Dylan Nelson, and Christian Nelson (Marissa), many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Cassaundra will be remembered for her kindness, bubbly personality, and the way she could light up a room.

A service to celebrate Cassaundra’s life will be held on September 27, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church – 13271 Millard Ave, Omaha, NE 68137. Family and friends are invited to gather in her memory and to surround her children with love.
