Amanda J. Stenstrom passed away at home on July 20, 2020, she was 36 years old. Amanda was born April 1, 1984 in Omaha, Nebraska to her parents Ted and Deanna Stenstrom. Amanda was a graduate of California State University – Monterey Bay.She worked at Imagination Station where her kindness and caring made her an amazing teacher and role model for many young pre-school aged children.She had an amazing gift for working with children, which showed not only with her kids at work, but with her younger cousins and niece as well. Amanda was also a great baker specializing with her custom-made birthday cakes which were often the centerpiece of any family birthday party.She was also very skilled in sewing and knitting, using her skills to make custom gifts and keepsakes for family and friends.Born and raised in Omaha, NE, she also lived in Monterey, CA for 7 years, and loved living near the ocean and rooting for her San Francisco Giants.She had a great sense of humor and she especially loved playing games with her friends, watching (and quoting) classic movies, preparing for the holidays, and most of all, spending time with her family. Amanda is preceded in death by her Grandfather John Stenstrom, and her Grandmother Joan Stenstrom.She is survived by her mother Deanna Stenstrom, her father Ted Stenstrom, her brother Brian Stenstrom and his wife Lonna, and her brother Jeff Stenstrom.Survivors also include, grandparents Del and Ila Nelson, aunts and uncles Robin and Bud Hutton, Tom Stenstrom, Terri and David Marzetti, and Joanie and Gary Newton, her niece Shaylie Stenstrom, and her cousins Erin, Justin, Jennie, Jackie, Shaun, Brad, Elizabeth, Emily, and Ben. No services will be held.
