Alvin is preceded in death by his parents Nathaniel and Bessie Carney and Mose and Agnes White. Brother: Moodie N. Carney; Nieces: Tressa D. Wolford and Shawn Hamilton; Nephews: Alonzo “Mitch” Mitchell, Shawn C. Carney and Richard Kelly III.

Alvin leaves to hold and cherish his memories; wife Ruby Jean Carney of Los Angeles, CA.; four stepchildren: Clarence Maple, Leslie Davis, Antoinette Davis and Carmalette Davis all of Los Angeles, CA. Sisters: Mary Kelly, Juanita Mitchell, Mozella Grigsby and Oria Thompson all of Omaha, NE; Best Buddy Hezekiah “Lovebug” Davis of Los Angeles, CA. and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
