Obituary for Alverta I. Dudley

DUDLEY, Alverta I.
10/5/1926 – 5/30/2019

Age 92 years of Omaha

We knew her as Mom but many others knew her as “Al”.

She was born in Natoma Kansas but she always considered Nebraska her home and roots as she grew up in Superior Nebraska. She lived a very full life from the time she was a little girl, she experienced so many things throughout that life including family music involvements as a child, to graduating from Lincoln School of Commerce and working outside the home along with raising three children. She loved following Nebraska Cornhusker sports especially the football team and being a spectator to many other sports including those that her three children participated in. Her career included a variety of jobs. She, her husband and children lived in many different states. She made friends where ever she went. She was easy to get to know by all and she was a very caring person. She was always upbeat, energetic and strong. After they returned to Nebraska, she and her husband enjoyed all the recreational activities that came from living in a lake subdivision and many times family and friends would enjoy those activities with them. The family was always close and went on many different types of vacations when the children were young all over the country, including visiting her sister and family on their Nebraska farm many summers. Following retirement she and her husband had fun on their own adventures in different countries and sometimes friends joined them as well. ~We miss you Mom. ~
